Tampa Bay Rays For Baseball Excitement
Since I am a long time Tampa resident, I have the tendency to root for all of my home teams. When it’s football season…Go Buc’s! When it’s time for hockey, the Tampa Bay Lightening has my attention. Of course, It’s no different when it comes to baseball. The Tampa Bay Rays have been quite exciting this year, to say the least.
When it comes to baseball, and hockey I have to say, I really enjoy the sport more live. To me, television has never done either of the sports as much justice as is deserved. Although, with today’s falling economy the price of going to see a game is almost out of reach for many of us fans. It’s not so much the price of the ticket as it is the high prices on hot dogs, beer, soda’s, and parking cost..not to mention the gas.
For the time being, my finances are rather tight so I have only actually been to one of our home games this year. Instead of going to the games I have decided to watch my favorite baseball, and hockey teams on my free satellite tv! I get a crystal clear picture on my 65 inch television, invite a few friends over and it’s close to the real thing.
Shoot, I probably have a better view than the umpire has of watching David Price get those strikes, Evan Longoria hit a home run, or Carl Crawford sliding in on the base. I know it’s not exactly the same, but considering the money I am saving I will make the small sacrifice.
