While these ads are tempting because of the low prices

While these ads are tempting because of the low prices these people offer to do your contracting work, you could be paying far more than you think if you choose an unqualified or unlicensed contractor–and risking your family’s safety.

You do not want to be in a situation when you have absolutely no recourse if somebody takes the money and does sub par work, or no work, or if someone gets hurts in your house due to their unlicensed work. It is unbelievable (and scary!) some of the things that can happen when dealing with an unlicensed contractor; that’s why it is truly important to do your research before choosing an electrical contractor.

Every electrical contractor has a license in his office and is required to carry a card showing what that license is if someone asks. This license reflects that the contractor has passed certain qualifications. The Nevada Contractor’s Board is a great resource when searching for an electrical contractor. You should also visit the Better Business Bureau’s website to see if there have been any complaints about a contractor.

Make sure to ask the contractors about their previous experience and how familiar they are with the type of work you are requesting. Ask as many questions as you need to find out about how the electrical contractor operates, their pricing structure and what you can and should expect from them.

One of the best ways to decide if a contractor is right for you is to ask for some references and to follow-up with those references. If a contractor is unwilling to give you references, then a red flag should automatically go up.

Running a small business is filled with big challenges.

Posted by: ste01153  :  Category: General

In fact, the more your business grows, the more you may find yourself wearing a wide range of hats. With the rapid changes today in information technology (IT), staying abreast of industry trends and knowing how they impact your business can be intimidating.

Does this challenge sound familiar to you?

If it does, you know the stress of managing your IT systems is magnified when it comes to the decisions and logistics involved with moving your business.

As your business grows, you may find that you have to change offices frequently. If you have experienced this with your organization-congratulations! It means your business is a success.

However, the success of your office move will be impacted heavily by the effective transfer of your information technology to your new location. This is an area of critical importance, and also an area where many small business owners lack experience and confidence.

Based on our experience managing the technology needs of hundreds of small businesses in a wide variety of industries, we have developed recommended practices that will help small businesses conduct a smooth and cost-effective move to a new location.

All of our recommendations are simple. So simple in fact, that most businesses tend to neglect them.

Tip #2: Plan well in advance

Planning a business move takes time. A lot of time. It can be years from the day you decide to move until the day you begin working in your new office.

A critical part of your move is planning. Failing to plan means planning to fail. So its important that you engage everyone involved in your move at the right time to keep everything on track.

Your first step should be to contact a commercial real estate broker. Brokers are critical because they have a depth of knowledge that only comes with being involved in the field every day. When selecting a broker, choose one who is willing to be your top ally in the moving process.

Brokers will not only be able to help you find space, but they will also:

Help you negotiate the best price and terms
Introduce you to key vendors
Steer you away from roadblocks theyve encountered in other client relocations

When you are within six months of your move, it is very important that you begin to plan your transition from a technology perspective.

There are several key milestones you must hit to make your technology transfer a smooth one. Failure to do so can bring your move to a screeching halt-and thats not what you want to have happen. If you want to make sure it doesnt, we encourage you to consider the remaining key points in this report.

Xerox – Its Journey with Ink

Posted by: ste01153  :  Category: General

Chester Carlson inventor of xerography founded the Haloid Company on 18 April 1935. The company produces and sells photo paper! It was in Rochester New York.

In 1942, Carlson has received U.S. Patent No. 2,297,691, Oct. 6 for electrophotography, later called xerography, the technology that has revolutionized the world of imaging.

Xerox, as we now know, was a trademark in 1948, when Haloid and Battelle Development Corp. announced the development of xerography.

The first Model A copier or Ox-Box, was based on xerography, the world of Xerox in the year 1949 gave! Today, manufactures office printers and home printers and high-volume, wide format printers and digital presses and afcoarse all shipments with these devices Go! They also offer services such as document management, evaluation and management of assets in a number of other services!

Xerox toner-based pioneer of organic carbon in the 1950s and today the development of a chemically grown toner – Emulsion Aggregation, Xerox has been short, and is the market leader in copiers, toner and ink !

It is No. 1 in the color digital production and No. 2 in the desktop color. Xerox is also compatible cartridges and rights to an alternative high quality cartridges for Hewlett-Packard!
Xerox manufactures and markets a range of monochrome and color copiers, fax machines, printers and presses.

Technology:

Xerox Research Centre Canada conducts basic and applied materials to support research in toners, inks, photoreceptors and specialty substrates xerographic printing technologies and direct.

Solid ink

Solid ink is solid until heated to a certain temperature, so it becomes liquid, then immediately turns back to solid state Printing. A stainless steel head with precision of tiny holes smaller than a human hair, solid ink is pressure on the media. The printhead contains 1,236 nozzles spray over 30 million drops per second. The print head nozzles, the ink on a heated drum, where he remains in a malleable state that ensures precise transfer to paper.
This reduces the amount of ink that is absorbed by the paper fibers and controls dot spread.

The brain behind such precise control is the controller based on a Phaser 600 MHz processor and a high speed bus 64-bit.

A solid ink printer consists of three main components: the head, the ink is printing drum, drum impression that the image transfer paper and control the brain of the printer that converts data from the computer to obtain information necessary print the image on the paper. Add a cabinet and a paper tray and you have a solid ink printer.

With print speeds up to 30 pages per minute and first page in six seconds, the solid ink printer three times faster than comparably priced laser printer.
The advantages of solid ink printers, it provides an excellent print quality, compared to 90% less waste as a competitive advantage over other printers on the print market, save up to 16 pages on a paper and Energy Star.

Emulsion Aggregation Toner

This is the breakthrough technology of Xerox Research Centre Canada has developed and patented by Xerox. This technology uses a chemical process to develop the toner particles with well defined shapes.

Very small particles of components are grouped into account those of toner in an aqueous environment and was allowed bail, and then grow. This simplifies control over the size and shape of toner particles. Once the particles reach their target size, they are removed from the growth environment. The growth process of organic matter requires comprehensive measures less and less energy, making it much more environmentally friendly.

A big advantage is that cost is not the limiting factor in the production of EA toner because there is no exponential relationship between cost and size of toner particles! In addition, it is again because of very low energy consumption during the growth of particles.
